LIME PRIME | 10KG

Primer for use in Passive Purple system.

PASSIVE PURPLE INTERNAL LIME PRIME

Acrylic waterborne ultrafine primer for porous lime and older dusty substrates.

Want to apply Passive Purple on a heritage project? Look no further…..

Why Choose Lime Prime?

Peace of mind

Used as a post treatment after installation of Passive Purple. The use of this primer will consolidate and close off difficult porous substrates like concrete bricks, calcium silicate stone and lime renders.

Application

Apply Lime Prime by low pressure or with airless spray equipment with just one layer approximately 100 gr/m2, depending on the porosity of the substrate.

Works together with Passive Purple

Due to the high vapour permeability of Lime Prime it can accommodate subtle movements (without cracking). It sits on top of substrates and works in perfect unison with Passive Purple’s high tensile elongation values and is a perfect solution for older buildings that move a lot.

Description

Waterborne primer, applied on porous and less cohesive substrates, prior to the application of waterborne dispersion coatings. Typically used on older dusty substrates and porous substrates like concrete bricks, calcium silicate stone, renders.

LIME PRIME | 10KG

DESCRIPTION Lime Prime is a waterborne primer, applied on porous and less cohesive substrates, prior to the application of waterborne dispersion coatings. The use of this primer will consolidate the substrate and improve the adhesion of coatings on difficult substrates and reduce risk of surface defects.

Typical uses:

» on older dusty substrates to consolidate such as lime-based rendering

» on water sensitive substrates such as gypsum board and gypsum plaster.

APPLICATION Remove dust and all friable parts from the substrate.

The application of Lime Prime does not avoid the need for substrate preparation.

Apply Lime Prime by low pressure spray or with airless spray equipment.

Apply only 1 layer, approximately 100 gr/m2, depending on the porosity of the substrate.

Allow to dry before application of water-born dispersion coatings.

PHUCK OFF CANCER

Here at Intelligent Membranes we are always looking for charities and foundations to support. Particularly this year, charities and foundations are among those truly impacted by the lack of funding. This is why we have created the Phuck Off Cancer version of our ‘Phuck Off’ product range and will be donating 100% of the profits from every tub sold! Please take a photo of your ‘Pink Ribbon’ face mask for social media and #Pinkribbonfoundation and #intelligentcommunity.
